The oldest museum in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain National Museum, has been developing this mission for over 30 years through its ethnographic and archaeological collections which record traditional ways of life and show the long history of human occupation in the UAE. In recent years this museum has been joined by the Al Ain Palace Museum and the Delma Island museum, which maintain focused collections of special material.

ADACH has plans to open a range of new museums in the next 5 years, including a Bedouin museum, an ethnographic museum, and the large-scale development of the Qasr al Hosn historic area of central Abu Dhabi. By making such unique collections open and available to the world, ADACH aims to foster respect and understanding for its own history and encourage an appreciation of cultural richness and diversity.
