Abu Dhabi International Photographic Society (ADIPS)was founded in January 2008 under the supervision of the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage. Itsmain objectives are to support the Art of Photographyand exert all efforts to develop the skills and activities of its members. In September 2008, the ADIPS became a registered member of the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP), thus becoming the official umbrella organization representing all UAE photography associations and clubs at the FIAP.
