Belarusian Arts Exhibition
From 22nd until 24th September
The Days of Culture of the Republic of Belarus in Abu Dhabi will take place on September 22 – 24, 2010.
This big cultural project will be held for the first time in the history of the Belarusian-Emirati relations.
The Days will start at the Emirates Palace Hotel in the evening on September 22 with the opening of the Belarusian Arts Exhibition prepared by the Belarusian Museum of Modern Fine Arts.
The official opening will be launched on September 23 by the Gala Concert at the Emirates Palace with participation of the world-famous National Academic Bolshoi Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus performing a stunning “Romeo & Juliette” and of the Belarusian State Choreographic Company “Khoroshki” performing fiery traditional dance compositions.
On September 24 the Days will continue at the National Theatre with the concert of the Chamber Orchestra of Young Talents from the Republican Music College under the Belarusian State Academy of Music and with another fiery performance of the Belarusian State Choreographic Company “Khoroshki”.
On the sides of the Days a tournament of youth Belarusian and Emirati ice-hockey teams will be organized.
The aim of the Days of Culture is to promote the development of mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries – the Republic of Belarus and the United Arab Emirates – and the further rapprochement of our peoples by getting the Emiratis familiar with the best samples of the Belarusian art.
We are confident that the Days of Culture of the Republic of Belarus in Abu Dhabi will attract a big attention of experienced Emirati public and will become an excellent start for autumn cultural season in Abu Dhabi after the Holy Month of Ramadan.
