Tradition and youth - masterworks performed by today’s most distinguished young interpreters: Salzburg’s Mozarteum Orchestra will appear both in concert and in opera. Led by young and upcoming conductor David Afkham, the concert programme continues the birthday celebrations with Schumann’s piano concerto with young Palestine pianist Saleem Abboud Ashkar. In the second half: Mozart’s uncomparable Jupiter Symphony.

Mozart’s opera „La Finta Giardiniera“ (The Pretended Girl Gardener) is produced by ADACH and an international opera production team featuring a cast of renowned Italian singers. Mozart composed the delightful opera buffa, an Italian comic opera, for the Carnival season in Munich. Sung in original Italian with Arabic subtitles, the story will be introduced in Arabic by famous Emirati actor Habib Ghuloom - in collaboration with KALIMA, the translation initiative of ADACH. A concept, that is fully accessible for local and expatriate music lovers.
