The department of "Arts and Culture" of ADACH adopts a cultural vision that regards culture as a vital active and creative element in the comprehensive development process which is blooming nowadays in the Emirates of Abu Dhabi. This process combines the concepts of Arabic, Islamic and international cultures.
Mission
The mission of Arts and Culture Institute goes in accord with the general cultural mission of Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage. It embraces values of creativity, thinking and aesthetics. It promotes theses values to create a cultural and social environment that enhances greater humanitarian vision.
Objectives
- To enhance and develop cultural and artistic infrastructure in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
- To carry out projects that help to promote culture and arts.
- To support local talents and introduce them to wider regional and international intellectual circles.
- To encourage dialogue between cultures.
- To promote cultural and artistic activities such as theatre, music, cinema, art exhibitions and lectures.
